The Rise of Scottish Businesses Across Australia

The rise of Scottish Business Owners across Australia has been fundamental to our success. Philanthropic business owner Ray Capaldi has been involved in the network since its inception. His business Wonderpies has been a strong supporter of our annual event, with Ray winning the overall achievement St Andrew’s Day Award in 2023.
Australia Swaps Scotland for Commonwealth Games

Glasgow will host the Commonwealth Games in 2026, and our fundraising campaign will support the Australian 3×3 Wheelchair Basketball team. FFIBA’s supercharged format of basketball is a relative newcomer to the scene. Australia has excelled in this format, winning 12 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals since 2012. We’re seeking your support in fundraising and have gained several business ambassadors across the states!
Exploring Scotland’s Diverse Music Scene in Australia

Scottish traditional music, known as Scottish folk music, has remained vibrant throughout the 20th century and into the 21st. Traditional Scottish music includes various styles such as ballads, reels, jigs, and airs. The bagpipes, an iconic Scottish instrument since the 15th century, play a prominent role in traditional music. Our most recent music award winners include Fiona Ross and William Hutton, both Scottish migrants in Victoria.
